Damascus Raider Bowie
The Raider Bowie has a blade forged from Damascus steel and its many layers of folded and melded steel give it a brilliantly vibrant pattern akin to burl wood. The blade has a stout base spine to give it good durability and its false edge tapers aggressively to a keen, claw-like point which makes it an excellent slash and pierce sidearm.
The guard, bolster and pommel scales to make the solidly-riveted composite hilt are crafted from steel with an antiqued finish coupled with chisel and filework design. The grip is two halves of dyed bone which are riveted to a thick filework-embellished tang. Inset into the bone on both sides is a circular design of brass and steel. Included with the dagger is a sheath of sturdy and well-dyed genuine leather with leather toolwork design in addition to a belt loop and buttoned retaining strap.
