Darksword Armory - Excalibur Dagger Brown Scabbard
This dagger is a companion blade to the Darksword Excalibur Sword; it has a blade forged from 1060 high carbon steel which is tempered to a 53 HRC hardness. The guard and pommel are brass and the wooden grip is tightly bound in braided steel wire.
Included with the dagger is a wood-core scabbard which is overlaid in leather and fitted with a protective steel chape. Two belt loops for wear are woven into and integrated with the scabbard itself.
The Excalibur sword from its namesake 1981 film is one of the most iconic swords in film and its style is both quintessentially medieval and mythical. Its clean lines are powerfully elegant and the swords design avoids the trap of drowning in excess adornment or being outlandishly ostentatious. This dagger is a fitting and stylistic companion to that sword, though it makes for an impressive dagger all on its own.
