This Greek Spearhead is forged from steel and is ready to be mounted to your own wooden haft to complete your Hoplite Dory Spear. The thick central ridge of this large Greek style spearhead gives it superb rigidity and in capable hands it is a powerful and deadly thrusting spear that had the ability to even rend and penetrate the armor of the Classical period.

Got delivered recently and i was thoroughly impressed. Not only with the spearhead but kult of athenas packaging. Mounted the spearhead my self and I’m quite proud of it. Haven’t done “testing” but the spear head looks great and is plenty sharp. (I added the sharpening service.) Has a good weight to it as well, not to heavy but solid heft. Highly recommend for someone who’s looking for a less expensive option and want’s to put together their own spear.
Just received my spear head and I am glad to add a spear to my arsenal. I had a random wooden stick with a tapered end and the spear head fit perfectly, though the stick is too short, so I will be looking for a longer one. I want it long enough to attach a small Templar flag I have, to add to my Templar garb. There is something primal about holding a spear and practicing with it. It must activate some ancient memories stored in your DNA. I guess it is because it is basically one of the oldest weapons, so you know your ancestors carried spears and used them for survival. I didn’t order the sharpening service, so the spear is dull, but the tip is still dangerous. I will sharpen it myself. I’m glad to have this, thank you.
