Hanwei Broadsword Hanger
The Hanwei Broadsword Hanger has been designed for the wall display of virtually any sword with a cross guard. Its scissor type action allows the retaining pins to grip the blade of the sword at the cross guard, the weight of the sword itself providing the gripping force. The retaining pins are internally threaded and adjustable to allow for different guard/grip thicknesses and are grooved to provide a positive blade stop for blades with or without ricassos. The nickel finish blends well with any blade to provide an unobtrusive means of display and excellent value.

Master sword smith Paul Chen created Hanwei Swords and led the early industry by creating authentic handmade swords of the highest grade steel over the last several decades. A favorite amongst the industry, the original Hanwei factory suffered from a fire and ownership changes. In 2025, the factory closed and original collaborator Frenchie Jin’s forge (Dragon King / Kingston Arms) has taken over, improving and reintroducing past models. The reinvented Hanwei focuses primarily on Japanese and Chinese models, including the Performance Series Katana. Many of the original European models are now adopted as part of the Kingston Arms line.

Works as intended Comes with dry wall screw. Cheaper way to display your swords handsomely on a wall. I used a thumb tac for additional support on the mid portion of the blade so it does not lean against the wall. The two points which grasp the sword can scratch the sword if you are not careful as it is metal on metal contact.
