Honshu Boshin Double Edge Sword
Honshu's Boshin Double Edge Sword melds the iconic blade styles of the Ninjato and the Kogarasu Maru Tachi into a single sword with practical and modern tactical materials. The blade is tempered 1060 high carbon steel and its unique form combines a thick blade spine for durability which rapidly tapers into a thin, dual edge at the midpoint of the blade; a fine compromise for resilience and the advantages of a second edge.
The guard and pommel are stainless steel and the grip is formed from tough and ergonomically formed thermoplastic rubber for a sure and no-slip grip. The scabbard is crafted from wood with detailing in synthetic leather and a black cord sageo to complete it.
Please Note: This product tends to have a slightly loose guard and it is a common enough issue that it cannot be considered a defect and is representative of standard level of quality.

The sword itself is flawless. Good weight nice balance and a good point. No gaps shakes or rattles. The only issue I have is it’s a bit tight in the sheath.
It’s a solid super legit feeling sword I chopped into a tree limb about the size of a shovel handle and it had zero deformation and no edge rolling . The only thing I changed was wrapping lizard skin bat wraps on the handle . It’s suuuuper comfortable to swing chop or whatever u throw at it.
