This robust buckler crafted by Krieger Historical Weapons is a fantastic dueling companion for an arming sword or sidesword and is crafted specifically for HEMA with durable modern materials.
Its core is a boss of C45 steel tempered to 40 HRc in hardness with an attractive antiqued finish and it measures 2 mm in thickness to ensure is both thick and materially resistant to impacts. It is riveted to a wider buckler body made from thick impact polypropylene and the grip bar is tough and reliable oak.
