Step into the age of pikemen and cavalry charges with this authentic Lobster-Tailed Pot Helmet, modeled after the 17th-century “zischägge” cavalry helmet. Worn by soldiers across Europe during the Thirty Years’ War and similar conflicts, this helmet combined style, protection, and practicality.
Its segmented lobster-tail neck guard shields the back of the neck while still allowing freedom of movement, while hinged cheek plates secure the sides of the face without restricting breath or vision. The rugged antique-distressed finish—complete with light hammer marks—adds to the historical realism, making it look like armor straight from the battlefield.
Inside, a liner provides superior comfort, even during long hours of wear. The adjustable leather chin strap ensures a snug and secure fit.
