Medieval Nasal Bar Helm with Cheekplates - 18 Gauge - Deepeeka
This Medieval Nasal Bar Helm is constructed with hinged cheek-plates; it is constructed from 18 gauge steel. The blackened interior of the helm is fitted with an adjustable leather suspension liner and an adjustable leather chin strap with a steel buckle.
This conical nasal bar helm improves upon earlier designs by having a reinforced conical dome instead of a more spherical shape; this not only helps to deflect blows to the head, but it also puts points of contact with a foes weapon farther from the skull than a more spherical form. The cheek plates are also a good addition that protects the face from strikes that make contact with the side of the face. It is a simple, but practical form of medieval head protection.

Excellent buy. The helmet arrived securely packaged and oiled. After cleaning I discovered the nasal was slightly bent and the cheek guards were slightly off alignment. This was easily corrected with some pliers however. This is a great buy at the price.
