    The Jungle Khukuri by Ex-Gurkha Khukuri House has a blade of 5160 high carbon steel. The blade body has a hardness of 45-46 HRC, the spine has a hardness of 22-25 HRC and the edge has a hardness of 54-55 HRC. The Kukri has a bolster and a pommel of brass and the grip is of carved water buffalo horn. It has a pinewood scabbard constructed with traditional Nepalese Laha glue and overlaid with a protective layer of black leather. It has a pair of integrated belt loops and a protective brass chape and two spaces for the smaller companion knives. The Kukri comes with the pair of utility knives, the karda cutting knife and the chakmak kukri sharpening tool. The small knives have blades of high carbon steel paired with buffalo horn handles.

    The Kukri is not only an excellent fighting knife, but it also doubles was a machete-like utility tool. With a thick spine and great chopping ability, the Kukri will make short of undergrowth and brush. These qualities make the Kukri an ideal blade for jungle fighters.
