Morningstar Mace – Lord of Battles

This morningstar mace has a spiked head of steel which is mounted onto a haft of wood. Its individual spikes have been welded to its steel cap to complete this most intimidating of medieval cudgels.

Crude, but effective; the Medieval Morningstar is essentially a cudgel festooned with a weighted and spiked head to greatly increase the ferocity of its strikes to blend concussive force with puncturing power. Unlike the sword which could be a symbol of nobility and chivalry, the morningstar instead represents the more brutish aspects of medieval conflict.

Please Note: Though Medieval impact and concussive weapons are durable they are not indestructible. The originals that this replica is designed after were designed to be hard enough to damage an opponent but light enough to wield without great difficulty. They are not designed to withstand heavy impacts with dense and hard targets such as trees, roads, buildings, wood planks, etc. Using this item against such targets risks damaging it. Please also note that rust-colored discoloration is common on the iron and is not rust but a by-product of its forging and base level of polish and finish.
