Norman Nasal Helm with Aventail - 11 / 16 Gauge - Lord of Battles
This dome of this sturdy Norman Spangenhelm is constructed from stoutly riveted thick plates of 16 gauge steel and the reinforced base of the dome is of robust 11 gauge steel; the nasal bar is approximately 12 gauge in thickness. The helm is paired with an aventail of butted mail links.
The interior if the helm is blackened and it is lined with an integrated leather suspension liner that can be adjusted with a leather cord to alter the fit of the helmet to the head. A leather chinstrap with an adjustable brass buckle to secure the helm to the head completes the helmet.

It appears to be well constructed and solid. Be aware that it is HUGE. Unless you have a very large head it will be unstable. I have a 7 1/2 US hat size (circumference 23.5 inches) and even buckled as tight as possible it shakes slides around.
