Red Dragon – Padded Leather Mask Overlay

This Red Dragon Leather Mask Overlay is designed to upgrade the head protection of your HEMA sparring mask. It is construction from durable and internally-padded suede leather. It back has padding which is reinforced with articulated plastic plates for a design that gives additional protection for the back of the head whilst still allowing for mobility.

For HEMA, this product has been classified as either appropriate for all skill levels or appropriate for those with Advanced Skills. Michael Turner, instructor at Tuathair Academy of Swordsmanship, assisted us in categorizing these items for the different skill levels of HEMA participants. These categorizations are meant as guidelines. Please refer to tournament rules for specific competition requirements. For this purpose, we do not include swords that may be used in cutting competitions in the HEMA category.

Four metal vents fitted into the sides the helmet allow it to ventilate heat whilst still providing good protection. An elastic velcro band chin strap completes this helmet overlay and an internal velcro strap assists in keeping it affixed to your sparring mask.Please Note: Mask is not included
