The blade is forged from tempered 65 Mn steel and comes with a sharp cutting edge right out of the box. The guard and pommel are constructed from practical stainless steel and the nearly 8 inch grip is tough ABS material with an overwrap of stitched genuine leather and a half-binding of braided steel wire. Mounting the full length tang into the hilt is a robust peen over the pommel for a durable construction.

The sword comes with a wood core scabbard complete with sword hangers for attaching it to a sword belt. Stitched genuine leather to match the sword grip binds the scabbard which is finished with a stainless steel chape and accents of braided wire.
