This dagger from Tod Cutler is based on a late 16th Century example from The Royal Armouries. Though able to be used in either hand, this dagger is most likely intended as a left hand dagger to be used in conjunction with a larger weapon in the dominant hand and it is a fairly ‘work a day’ example of the type – so this is very much a practical brawler’s and duelists dagger. The blade is forged from EN45 high carbon steel and securely mounted into a hilt with steel fittings and a polished wood grip.

Included with the dagger is a high quality genuine leather sheath with high quality fine cast brass fittings to complete the sheath and dagger.

I’m really impressed by this dagger. It looks great and feels good in the hand. The guard and side ring are small but cleverly designed to offer a very good amount of protection (as long as you hold it right).

      Nice scabbard, too!
