This reproduction from Tod Cutler of a middling to high-level status Bollock dagger takes its design from an original within the Rothenburg Collection. It is a long-bladed dagger intended for war or self defense and would be right at home at the belt of a professional man of arms or a knight. The blade is quite thick, rigid and quadrangular with a highly raised diamond cross section and is clearly intended to be a dagger optimized for punturing and thrusting, though it could capably cut as well. The grip is likewise a matched diamond cross section which flares widely at the end to ensure a very solid handhold intended to keep the dagger in hand when meeting substantial resistance in a thrust.

The blade of the dagger is crafted from tempered 1060-1065 High Carbon Steel. The hilt is carved and polished hardwood (Ash) and the hilt accents are of antiqued brass. Included with the dagger is a dual-layer sheath of genuine and high quality vegetable tanned leather with a hand stitched construction. The sheath is capped with a matching antiqued brass tip and an integrated drawstring to attach it to your belt.
