Swept Hilt Rapier - 34" Blade - Deepeeka
This swept-hilt Rapier has a tempered blade of high carbon steel which is mounted into a steel swept hilt. The grip is wood with a wrap of braided steel wire. The shorter blade length on this rapier makes it an agile sword that is easy to wield and its bearer does not need to fight against the leverage incurred by a longer blade against the hand. Included with the sword is a leather scabbard with a steel chape and locket.

I bought this rapier with the sharpening service and it is light and very sharp. In fact, I have been collecting swords for awhile now and this is my favorite sword. If you are looking for speed versus strength type of sword with tremendous thrust & cutting potential then this or any of Deepeeka’s Rapiers that have a 33 inches long blade will do it for a great price. I want another Matt!
Possibly left handed?
This is by my account as a swordlet a decent rapier, BUT, and again to my big handed swordlet novice mind the shape of the basket is far more comfortable in the left hand than the right.
