This adjustable belt with rapier frog is crafted from thick, stitched leather. The buckles, rivets and fittings are of steel. The frog has a series of adjustable buckles and straps that can be fitted to a rapier scabbard; another buckle and strap on the frog can be used to control the angle the sword hangs at.

The leather is extremely stiff and feels cheap, but the sizing is the real problem.
This belt is gigantic and does not have nearly enough holes to accommodate normal waist sizes. I have a 31-inch waist, and the first usable notch is roughly nine inches too far out, meaning the MINIMUM waist size is around 40 inches. I understand trying to make a product “one size fits all,” but that only works if you actually add enough adjustment holes.
The frog also hangs far too low. With my rapier attached, I cannot comfortably reach the pommel unless my arm is fully extended, making it awkward and impractical to draw or carry as intended.
I was not expecting much at this price point, but I was still disappointed.
I have to offset the other review. I got this belt and frog to go with the Deepeeka “spanish” swept hilt rapier, and it seems to be designed and built well and hangs the rapier just fine, at it’s proper height, and the sword is easily accessible, and able to move out of the way during normal walking, etc. I think Nick might be wearing the belt the same way he would wear the belt on his Levis, which this will not work with. sword belts (and any other belts of the period really) should typically hang on your hips at your natural waist, not cinched around your pelvis. It’s a nice bit of kit and suits the intended purpose well, as well as allowing for quick arming or disarming without really effecting the rest of your belted accessories.
