Crusader's Helm - 16 Gauge Steel - Lord of Battles
This Early Crusader helm is essentially a Medieval pot helmet extended with a steel mask for full face protection. Helms of this type are in effect an early transition to the all-encompassing Great Helm. This helm is made from riveted plates of 16 gauge steel.
The interior of the helm is blackened and the interior is lined with padded cotton suspension lining; it can be adjusted to best fit the head with a leather cord. The helm is completed with an adjustable leather chinstrap with a brass buckle.
