Honshu Gladiator Sword With Sheath
The Honshu Gladiator Sword is a modern take on the classic and time-tested Roman Gladius and it has a sharpened blade of 7Cr13 Stainless Steel that is well suited to powerful, puncturing thrusts and wide, powerful chops. The blade is sturdily mounted into a molded TPR (Thermoplastic Rubber) grip which provides a slip-resistant ergonomic grip that is robust and ready for extensive use. It is a material that is moisture resistant and lightweight and durable.
The sword is matched with a thick and tough scabbard of leather with riveted and stitched construction. It can be worn with its integrated belt loop and there is an integrated buttoned retaining strap to secure the grip.
Please Note: The retaining strap at first may be difficult to button. It is intentionally made tight because it is expected for the leather to stretch as it settles in for a more long-lasting secure grip on the sword. You may need to stretch the leather to get it to button for the first time and it may then be a good idea to let the leather stretch and settle into its new form.

I purchased this sword after watching a video discussing some of the better self defense swords, and I am very pleased with it. It is very light for a sword and definitely a one hander. I got it because if I had to use a sword in a tight hallway, I would want this one. If you want something practical for home self defense, this is a good start if your not into guns.
It came sharp with no defects, it was exactly as described. Being stainless steel is also helpful so it doesn’t need much maintanence as long as you take care of it.
Came fast and very well packaged! Lost a star only because the blade was loose but tightening the screws fixed the issue. I am very satisfied and will buy from Kult of Athena again.
