This large Native American Club is crafted from hardwood and the ball of the head has been skillfully carved into the head of a warrior. The club was completed with a rich stain and red war paint for the head. A hole at the base of the handle can accommodate your own lanyard or allow it to be easily hung from a hook.

A common and versatile weapon to the Native American tribes of the Eastern Woodlands and the Great Lakes, these wooden war clubs are quick on the swing and a well-connected blow would easily shatter the jaw or fatally fracture the skull of a foe. This particular example is especially intimidating; both in the size of the club and the grim visage of the native warrior upon its head.

Beautiful war club! It is big, strong and its shape really helps to handle it in a manner that you can use it for self defense. I really recommend it! I have others and they are nice but very light for any other purpose than decoration. This one you can use it. The wood is beautiful and the head of the warrior is impressing. If you like this kind of war clubs, this is a very good choice and a must for any collection.

Came 26.6″ long & 20.0 oz (substantially lighter than the spec 26.5 oz, but arguably more historically realistic, though still disappointing). Head is 4.75″ high, 4.5″ wide, & 1.75″ thick. Handle is 1″ thick with slight bend to right. Definitely much thinner head than in pics which does look kind of weird but otherwise looks & feels good. Stain not satin chocolate-brown like in pics but rather flat mid-brown (a more historical color). Definitely a hand-made item. Unknown hardwood material is of similar density to mid-grade hickory (based upon weight & size). Very rigid & strong per bending by hand tests. Handle is solid wood but head is glued separate pieces (solid separate head, nose, & ears) glued & fit to handle. Good wall-hanger, historical replica, or kata piece. Should work fine for hitting softer targets but would still mess up looks. If want to hit something use the overly heavy industrial plastic Cold Steel one instead.
