RFB Axe - 26'' - Foam Weapon
Epic Armourys Ready for Battle Axe is a classic latex war axe that will serve a rural warrior, homestead defender or Viking raider equally well. The 60 cm axe has a 55 cm wooden handle and a large rectangular axe head. The head is 12 cm long from bite to handle, with a 15 cm curved edge.
Use this axe with a shield for a Celtic or Viking look. Made from durable closed cell foam around a fibreglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, you can feel confident that your LARP weapon will provide the safety and appeal you want when crafting your kit.
All latex-coated weapons need a certain degree of maintenance. For this we recommend using maintenance silicone which can be purchased separately. Epic Armoury Maintenance Silicone is an easy, spray-on application, 100% pure and acid-free making it safe to apply. We recommend using Maintenance Silicone on a regular basis. It maintains the latex-coats flexibility and prevents it from drying out, keeping the product wear and tear resistant.
Store your latex weapons flat or on its pommel--NEVER on its tip. Use a simple sheet or towel lining to prevent it from touching a plastic or rubber surface to prevent your weapon from adhering to other products. Keep your weapons in a cool, dry environment.

For the 2020 Holidays I ordered 3 weapons the 26″ Foam Axe, the Two handed Flamberge Sword, and the Double Ball Flail. I ordered it really late into the year only placing my order at the beginning of December and figured there would be no chance the order would arrive before Xmas to give to my friends and family. Not only did they arrive quickly, each weapon was awesome quality with no visual defects at all. (The Double Ball Flail did end up slightly breaking at the attachment ring but that was user wear and it definitely shouldn’t be used except for a walk around prop/ display item)
The 26″ Foam Axe looked so realistic when I first opened the box I thought they might have sent me the wrong item, it is exactly what I was looking for a non threatening fake weapon that can be used in foam LARP as well as at comic cons or renaissance fairs with strict weapons policies. The Flamberge has a stunning leather scabbard that is excellent quality and the whole sword was breathtaking and perfect for a menacing Landschenect look . And the Double Ball Flail looked amazing, super pretty and had a great hefty weight to it, it was a perfect gift for someone’s first time realistic prop weapon.
I fully plan on shopping the Kult of Athena again, their fast shipping, with their great prices for a sword lover on a budget that loves quality products makes me a very satisfied customer that wants to buy all weapons for my family and friends next Xmas. You guys are awesome!!!
