Ronin Katana - Fantasy Two Handed Long Sword #1
This iconically styled Greatsword is no mere wallhanger, but is a powerfully proportioned, functional sword that is more than capable of strong and decisive strikes. Though large and with some authoritative heft, the sword is still quite manageable in the hand. The sharp and well tempered blade of 1075 high carbon steel is mounted into a hilt with a stainless steel guard and pommel. The HRc hardness of the tempered steel is at 48-52 HRc. The grip is wood with a wrap of tight stitched leather and the tang of the blade is dual pinned to the pommel with a permanently installed nut assembly. The sword is paired with a wooden scabbard which is completed with a wrap of tight, matched leather and a steel chape and locket.
