Overview

Raven Forge - Geralt of Rivia's Aerondight Silver Sword – The Witcher

A legendary sword for the legendary Geralt of Rivia, the Aerondight Silver Sword brings one of the most iconic weapons from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to life as the officially licensed replica from Raven Forge’s Legends Collection, created in collaboration with CD Projekt Red. Developed using exclusive in-game artwork and 3D models, this 1:1 reproduction faithfully captures the mystique and real life aura of the iconic sword wielded by Geralt of Rivia.

The Aerondight features an imposing and huge blade measuring 40 inches and length coupled with angled spiked quillons, and distinctive quadruple wolf-head pommel. Etched runes adorn blade drawn directly from the game’s artwork and it is crafted from practical stainless steel which has been tempered for resiliency. The 8.75 inch handle is wrapped in leather, while the substantial pommel provides a visually striking counterpoint to the blade. From its elaborate hilt to its runic blade, the imposing sword closely follows the design seen in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, making it the essential centerpiece for any Witcher collection or display.

In the world of The Witcher, Aerondight is not simply given—it must be earned. Geralt receives the legendary silver sword from the Lady of the Lake after proving the five chivalric virtues of generosity, compassion, honor, valor, and wisdom. This officially licensed replica faithfully recreates the fabled Aerondight for collectors, fans and cosplayers alike. Included is a wood display plaque with screened design (mounting hardware included) and a Certificate of Authenticity.

The Maker

Raven Forge

A bit about Raven Forge.

Let’s start at the beginning for those of you who don’t know anything about Raven Forge. Raven Forge is a small company from the UK, based in rainy Skipton in the Yorkshire Dales, that was founded and is run by two brothers, Sam and Tom Ive.

Sam and Tom grew up on fantasy, sci-fi and computer games, with a deep love of everything from Star trek, to Lord of the Rings, Terry Pratchett, Final fantasy,  Dungeons and dragons, and everything in between.

Before Raven Forge, Sam worked for the NHS, working with people with mental health issues and learning difficulties , and Tom worked for North Yorkshire Council, maintaining the stunning old buildings and walks of the Yorkshire Dales. In their spare time, they owned and operated a historical sword-fighting club called Tree of Shields. It was this passion for historical swords and armour that led the brothers to start what is now Raven Forge.

Fast forward 3 years, COVID-19 lockdown and hundreds of social media live streams and community events later, we reach 2022. This was to be the year they decided they were going to become the official collector’s choice for TV, movie, and video game replicas, going on to later not just acquire a singular license, but collecting and curating them into one Legend Collection of epic proportions.

They can’t wait to share with you the beginning of their Legend Collection and the stunning in-game swords that we’re bringing to life, as well as the stories of the amazing people they have had the opportunity to work with these last few years
