Cold Steel - Tanto Machete
Cold Steels Tanto Machete has taken the Americanized Tanto blade design and translated into a practical and conveniently priced machete dagger ideal for bushcraft, camp duties and survival utility. The blade is 1055 High Carbon steel which has been finished with a baked-on black matte finish to give it improved resistance to rust and moisture. The wide chopping and slicing blade is backed up by a thickened spine for durability and power and the tanto-point tip gives it impressive piercing capabilities.
The full-tang blade is mounted into a robust weather-resistant polypropylene handle. Included with the Tanto Machete is a Cor-Ex sheath of strong nylon with a hard impact plastic tip. The sheath is finished with a buttoned retaining strap and a belt loop.
