Like the axe looks good feels good. Only thing is it’s not the same as in the pic. Came with a completely different type of shaft. But that’s fine I like it regardless.
I’ve fought with this hand axe in multiple tournaments around the country as well as multiple demos. It’s durable, a good length and excellent weight. Your opponent will know when you lay one into them. Several of my teammates also love to use it when they can. Only things I’ve done to it is drill and pin the head to the haft, add 2 layers of jute twine from the bottom of the head to about 5” down and wrap it with black hockey tape.
I’m very happy with this extraordinary masterpiece. It feels great holding the Norse ax in my hand(s) as I practice my martial arts techniques and exercise with it. A dual purpose weapon it is. Thank you, Kult of Athena 😊
