Quite sharp with the service. A fun looking fully functional tool for the yard and fairly inexpensive. The sheath is high quality as well.
I love this machete! It was meant to be a bash-around hacker and I didn’t expect it to be as sharp as it is, right out of the box. I did not order sharpening service on this one, and honed it a bit just to smooth the rougher grind of the blade.
Fairly narrow at 3mm, edge looks to be about 15 degrees per side. I have large hands so grip is fine but it might be a little thick for those with smaller hands. Easily worth it for the price.
