Darksword - Black Knight's Gothic Medieval Sword
The Black Knights Gothic Medieval Sword by Darksword Armory has been fitted with a blade of 5160 high carbon steel that has been dual-tempered to have a core hardness of 48-50 HRC and and edge hardness of 60 HRC. This differentially-tempered treatment creates a sword with a softer, break-resistant flexible core and a harder cutting edge.
The crossguard and pommel are of steel and the wooden grip is overlaid with brown leather for a grip. It comes with a wooden scabbard fitted over in brown leather with a steel chape to protect the tip from damage.
Darksword created the Black Knights Gothic Medieval Sword to have historical dimensions and handling of a late medieval arming sword with a touch of practical fantasy in the form of the crossguard. The crossguard is adeptly suited to trapping an opponents blade and the well-tapered profile of the blade is suitable for thrusting into weak points of armor and for splitting mail links. A blade of this type is a suitable design for a medieval sidearm for the late Medieval combatant who can expect to have to deal with armored foes in his travels.

Great work, but not as advertised Great looking sword, always happy with Kult of Athena’s products. But, the blade I got, was not the same. It had no fuller, just regular blade. Pretty disappointed with that fact. All in all, good product.
