Pretty nice My first rapier that I’ve owned and I like it a lot. The detail on the hilt is really nice and everything is tightly fit. The blade came very sharp using KoA’s sharpening service, allowing my friends and I to effortlessly thrust cleanly through 2 liter bottles of water and the cardboard box it came in. Only two complaints about this product. First, and this is very minor but I figured I could bring it up, the scabbard it comes with is barely par. It came very oily and when I first took the sword out of the scabbard I immediately had to wipe the blade of excess oil. The scabbard could also be higher quality but with the price, I’m not really too upset about it. Secondly, the P.O.B. feels too far away from the handle, and when you first pick it up it feels very unwieldy. The balance almost feel like a slashing weapon when clearly that is not the intended use of the sword. Anyways, definitely a good product and would recommend this to anyone who wanted to buy a rapier.
I ordered the Deschaux Rapier with sharpening service from KoA and was thrilled to receive it! It has beautiful clean lines and feels great in the hand, light and deadly. Would buy again.
