This Medieval High-Backed chair is an ideal furniture piece for a Medieval room, feast table, or as the throne for your King or Baron in reenactment or roleplay. It is constructed from robust, seasoned mango wood in a Medieval Gothic style with its quatrefoil cut-outs and its recessed gothic arch detailing set into its thick wood backing.
The chair ships unassembled and is assembled in period fashion with interlocking pieces which are locked into position with wooden wedges.
Please Note – Important Info: Do not throw away packaging material for this chair until you locate the wedges which are typically wrapped in a bundle of packaging and taped to other pieces or otherwise within the box on their own. You may need a rubber-headed mallet to tap or pound in wedges when constructing the chair. The wedges are not completely identical so you may find that some are better suited for use in some places over others and vice versa. Also – the armrests slot into place but are not secured. You may wish to glue them into postion for a more secure assembly.
