Often paired together
A beautiful piece, but with issues I will need to correct before the spear can be completed. Mine arrived with a nasty bend about 4 inches from the tip. Being Bronze and soft metal, I was able to straighten it back into position.
There is absolutely no blade edge of any type and along with the dull blade the point is wide and dull as well. I guess I could have seen if Cult of Athena could sharpen it, they did a wonderful job on the Bronze Sword I recently purchased. Anyway I will have to form a blade edge and sharpened point prior to installing it to a shaft!
The Shaft opening is quite small. Even a 2 inch broom handle will go in, but nat really far enough. Mounting it will be a job.
If all goes well it will make a beautiful , if soft , spear. Good Purchase.
