Hanbon Forge - T10 Dragonhead Katana
Unlike other examples of the famed Dragonhead Katana, this one has a robust blade of T10 high carbon steel and a full length / full size katana tang that allow it to transcend from merely being gorgeous to look at and allowing it to come off that wall for a target cutting session! As if the grip wasn't enough to make it stand out from all the other katana in your collection, the blade features an embossed dragon horimono and a gorgeously carved and lacquered dragon scabbard for a complete and unified theme.
The T10 blade brings all the toughness and edge resilience desired of a time-tested tool steel that lends its qualities well to the swordmaker's art. The blade measures 28.5 inches in a classic shinogi-zukuri style. Its tsuba and fuchi hilt components are crafted in durable antiqued-finished brass and the grip is highly detailed resin. Two red acrylic gems cover the bamboo peg for decorative purposes.
