This hauberk is constructed of dome riveted flat rings of titanium. This makes for a chainmail that is considerably superior to standard mail, as it is not only strong and durable, but it has a weight closer to the considerably lighter aluminum chainmail over standard weight mail. Titanium chainmail is a superior mail for those who need a strong mail, but wish to extend their endurance and comfort by shaving off much of the considerable weight of mail armor.

Every aficionado should have a coat of mail, and titanium is nice because it’s lighter than steel and more forgiving of not having a squire on hand to polish your armor for you.
Order large. I measured 49″ around my gambeson, but the large was still too tight in the shoulders. an XL seems to fit fine.
Also some of the links appear to be defective and some of the rivets are sticking up a bit, allowing the mail to bind, which can be problematic while donning it. These are few and far between, let me emphasize, but they are there. Rivets are steel, which will require some maintenance. I recommend getting an arming cap as well, as these don’t feel good going over your scalp otherwise, especially for hair challenged guys like myself.
Overall verdict, a very nice piece of armor, definitely a must if you’re going into battle against an army of goblins.
