Musashi Ryoushi Katana
The Kaigan Katana by Musashi is a visually striking Katana with a sharpened cutting blade to match. The forged blade is crafted from 1060 high carbon steel which was differentially tempered with the traditional claty-tempering process to give it a hardened steel edge and a visual hamon line. A long bo-hi groove cuts unneeded weight to ensure the katana can strike swiftly while still maintaining excellent durability. The habaki and seppa are brass and the tsuba and its matching fuchi and kashira hilt fittings are of blackened brass with detailing picked out in bold gold colored trim. The wooden tsuka grip has panels of inlaid rayskin beneath its folds of knotted black ito cord.
The sword is matched with a glossy black lacquered saya with a matching black cord sageo. A black cotton sword bag is included as well as a stamped and serialized production certificate from the forge.
