Poleyn Set - Knee Armor - 18 Gauge - Deepeeka
This set of poleyns are crafted from 18 gauge steel and are fitted with thick, riveted leather panels to prevent the armor chafing the wearer or digging into them. The armor is buckled behind the knee with a strap of leather and an adjustable, antiqued brass buckle. The back of the armor is blackened to give it some resistance to rust.

Often paired together
Good quality build and functional, but there are apparently multiple styles pertaining to the leather that are sold without mention. I fell in love with the imaged vibrant red leather with pedal cuts, what I received was most definitely Brown leather and a straight parallel cut to the steel. I’ll now have to grind off the rivets and replace the leather and re-rivet them to have what is shown in the pictures… Doable, but unexpected extra labor and expense.
