This Scottish Basket Hilt sword has a blade forged from C60 high carbon steel; etched scrollwork is emblazoned upon both sides of the blade. The hilt is crafted from chromed brass and lined with red velvet. The grip is wood and bound in leather and twisted brass wire.

For the money this is a great sword. I bought it because I wanted a basket hilt for my collection but it’s not a sword that I really care about not my dream sword. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is because there are a few slight issues the blade is not centered in the basket, some small blemishes and waves in the steel. fit is tight and the weight is bang on. overall very happy with this sword. if you are looking for a decoration I highly recomend this sword.
