The Valiant Armoury War Sword is a powerful and agile late Medieval sword with fantastic cutting potential; hailing from Valiant’s Craftsman Series it is entirely made in the USA. The sharpened blade is 6150 high carbon steel with an overall tempered hardness of 52 HRc. The steel was twice-normalized to improve its internal grain structure and the edges are finished with resilient appleseed edge geometry. The crossguard and pommel are of satin-polished steel and the well-carved hardwood grip is tightly wrapped in quality leather.

The sword is matched with a premium quality scabbard of wood which is overlaid with a tight binding of high quality leather with richly embossed detailing. The sword hangers are both knotted and interwoven into the scabbard and these connect to a sword belt with sword hangers which can be used to adjust the height and angle by which the sword scabbard hangs from the included sword belt. The sword belt is made from durable and high quality vegetable tanned leather and it can be adjusted to fit around the waist with a metal buckle with a steel tongue.

Great sword overall the leather work is fantastic. The blade is wider than I had expected the sword is well balanced and easy to move great for powerful cuts. Only negative is the edge is sharp just a little rough The tip came rolled on one side of the blade not sure how to make it even. Overall this sword is a beautiful beast.
