Overview
Viking Fighting Axe - Lord of Battles
This Viking Axe is light and fast and well suited to being paired with a shield in a quickly-paced melee; its broad blade strikes with considerable chopping power when coupled with the velocity that can be obtained from a fast and shearing strike. The long hooked tips allow the bearer to spring a surprise puncturing strike on a foe or hook a shield rim to open a foe up for a strike from an ally.
The head is hand-forged from high carbon steel and it is securely mounted onto a haft of robust hardwood. A grip and banding of leather cord complete the axe.

I absolutely love this thing, it’s exactly as described.
My only nitpick is that it appears to be mounted with pins. I would have preferred just the friction fit. I won’t call this a complaint though, just my own preference.
5 stars. Thanks for it.
Very Nice looking, beautiful shelf piece, but as far as “Battle Ready”? absolutley not, the axe head slid down the shaft after hitting rotting wood like around 10 times. if used as a tool or weapon this product would fail you heavily.
