Viking Long Seax - Deepeeka
This robust Viking Seax is built for stage combat with its durable overall construction and a thick and blunt-edged blade of tempered high carbon steel. The thick spine gives the blade durability and the tip is rounded for safety. The cutting edge is thick and blunt both for resilience and safety.
The guard and pommel are heat blued steel and the thick hardwood grip is tightly bound in a wrap of high quality leather. The blade is securely mounted into the hilt with a stout peen on the pommel. Included with the seax is a sheath crafted from thick, high quality vegetable tanned leather with thickly stitched leather cord construction and a pair of belt loops for wear.

Not a bad weapon, beware though cause the metal is kind of soft. I use this as a secondary in a viking living history group and it has plenty of bites in the blade from contact with other weapons that I have to grind out with each use.
I purchased this seax for stage combat, but it arrived with a sharp point and a blade edge of uneven thickness which made it unsafe for the task. The cross guard and pummel also have some pretty sharp edges on them that can catch on your hand if you’re not careful. The sheath is nice though.
