This 18th Century Cut and Thrust sword has a blade forged from C60 high carbon steel which is mounted into a hilt of cast brass. The sword comes with a wood-core scabbard which was finished with a black leather wrap and a chape and locket of brass.

This sword is fine, especially for the price. It feels a bit heavy in the hand as the balance point is pretty high. It takes some getting used to. The handle, though very nice, seems a bit undersized for the wide blade. It looks great with my 18th century impression and as I stated earlier, for the price it’s hard to complain too much.
