Lord of Battles - Late 14th Century Gambeson - Black
This late 14th Century Gambeson is crafted from sturdy, quilted cotton and filled with cotton felt for interior padding. It is closed on the front with cotton buttons. The use of organic materials to craft this gambeson give it innate improved ventilation properties over gambesons constructed or padded with artificial materials and poly-fill.

fits well! I have owned several gambisons over the years and this one fits the best so far , this the only way to get a better fit for me is to have a custom one made !
Sleeves fit close to the body but not too tight , I still have about 95% movement , padding is adequate but not too thick, very good indeed !
Nice item. I ordered the 2XL after vacillating over the sizing. Turned out to be a decent fit on my arms but a bit loose on the chest. I have a 50” chest and decently muscular arms. If I went a size down I would probably not fit into the sleeves. Easier to move the buttons than mess with the sleeves.
