A sturdy, padded arming belt is ideal for wearing with a gambeson and under armor; the lack of buckles and metal fittings give it a thin profile that will not entangle or snag on chainmail and other armor. It has a set of reinforced grommeted holes that can be used to lace mail chausses and other armor onto.

The belt needs to be laced to secure it to the waist; cords are not included, but cords with aiglets are ideal for this function, but any sturdy cords can be used (sold separately).
