Padded Gladiator Arm Guard - Deepeeka
This padded Gladiator Arm Guard is crafted from durably stitched cotton canvas cloth with a filled and padded interior. The padding for a single arm can be worn on either arm and is secured and adjusted to fit to the torso with a leather strap harness with antiqued brass buckles. Leather lacings that run the length of this arming garment fit and fasten the padding to the arm for a snug fit.
Thick cloth is surprisingly good at preventing injuries from cuts and slices, the padding is not only more material to cut through but a blade can have more difficulty "biting" into the material which lessens the effectiveness of the cut. It was common for Gladiators to wear thick padding on their arms to give them protection from injury.
