The sharp functional high carbon steel blade is mounted with a traditional copper habaki. The scabbard on this odachi sword is hand made from wood, and covered in leather as shown.

The leather wrap and wrap on holster beautiful and has a lot of grip the blade is a little rough not quite polished like I was expecting and moderately sharp I guess means wonât cut paper veryyyy disappointed with the sharpness. Didnât expect to split hairs but you couldnât cut a stake with it.
