Lord of Battles - Milanese Leg Armor - 16 Gauge
This robustly crafted leg armor set is made from plates of 16 gauge steel which is articulated for mobility with swivel-rivet construction. The armor is composed of a cuisse and polyen with an additional hinged plate to cover outside side of the leg. The armor is strapped to the leg and adjusted to fit with a set of thick leather straps matched with durable steel buckles. Hinged belt loops at the top of the armor suspend and secure it from an arming belt or arming girdle to keep the armor from sliding down. These can be adjusted to height with a pair of buckles.

The construction is great, the only problems are that the prongs on the belts were not shaped at all(but that wasn’t the hardest thing to alter) and the size of the things. I’m 6’3″, 160 lbs. Skinny, but still, I thought I could alter them to fit better. I added 1/2″ of closed cell padding and curved them in a bit more, and I can still fit both legs into one side. They’re also too long. These feel like they’re made for someone 7 feet tall, 300lbs+. I’m still gonna try to make them work cause I altered them already, but I might have to find a new owner for them.
